Exchequer Enduro
Sunday March 24th
DESCRIPTION
All racer will line up on stage 1 at their given time, with the first Pro racer heading out at 8 AM. There will be 4 stages for the Pro and Expert categories, and 3 stages for the Sport and Beginner categories. Each racer will head out in 30 second intervals in the order they arrived in and race to the bottom of the stage where their time will be recorded. After finishing each stage, racers will then ride up to the next stage (untimed) until all stages are completed.
Stage 1: Dirt Surfer
NEW FOR 2023! We will be switching up the first stage of the Exchequer enduro. Stage 1 will now be ran on Dirt Surfer Trail from the top of the mountain. This is very unfortunate news for the riders who really enjoyed the climbing in Stage 1 in the years past, and we apologize for that. But for the riders who wanted a trail that was primarily all downhill, this change is for you! This also means all 4 stages of the enduro will now be starting at the top of "Party Mountain".
Stage 2: Flying Squirrel
After riding up the Cramp Up fire road climb, racers will start at the top of the mountain and drop down the Flying Squirrel downhill. This will zig-zag down the mountain over boulders and through trees.
Stage 3: Down and Out
Starting again from the top of the mountain racers will drop down the Down and Out downhill. This stage is the speediest of trails off the top of the mountain which also features some smaller jumps to boot off of and the big 15 foot gap jump for the guys who want to send it.
Stage 4: Gnarnia
Expert and Pro racers will line up once again at the top of the mountain for the Gnarnia downhill. This double black diamond trail does not follow the contours, it just drops straight down the mountain going over rocks, drops, and waterfalls. Gnarnia will be the trail that will separate the skilled riders from the struggling riders in the enduro.
The Exchequer Race Book has all the information you need for the race weekend including start times, packet pick up times, pre-ride times, categories, and more.
